Public Speaking and Debate

Welcome to Mr. Belasco's Public Speaking and Debate web site. I am confident that we will have fun as well as learning a great deal about speaking, presentations, and most importantly each other. Success in this class will depend upon your willingness to invest the time in preparing and not merely trying to shot from the hip. Believe me, not only I will know but the whole class will be able to see that you have not prepared for class.

This year will provide a very unique experience to watch not only presidential speeches but presidential debates and evaluate them based upon the lessons you learn in class. In addition to learning from books, we can learn from real life experiences. Eventually, I will be generating a three month calendar, but for know you will have one month calendar.
