Waking up this morning, I knew the summer sands have all but fallen from the hour glass. A cool fall morning stood where the sweltering summer days once were. With that in mind It was time to start updating for school, so as I sit back at my school desk I type these words. I look forward to seeing you all soon. For now I am posting the essay choices for the summer reading. The essay will not be due until Friday September 10, 2010. So here is the AP Literature summer reading selections.

Welcome to my home away from home on the internet. I have been teaching English at LCMR for 18 years. At this time I have taught everything from Ninth Grade General English to Twelfth Grade AP Language and Composition. Currently I teach Advanced Placement Literature and Composition, Tomorrow's Teachers(Future Educators), and Public Speaking/Debate. While AP courses will pose a greater challenge than any other English class you have ever had, if you stay with it the benefits will also be greater than you have expereienced before. I have been working since school let out... If you are looking for a brief personal biography, feel free to click personal biography.

Professionally, I graduated from Rutgers College in 1989 with a B.A. in American Literature. Following a few years of exploring the country and working in outdoor recreation, I went back to earn a post-baccalaureate degree in English Education from Glassboro(now Rowan). After student teaching in Vineland High School (9-10 building), I secured a position teaching tenth grade Honors English at Vineland High School. After teaching there for one year, I moved to the D’Ippolitto Middle School where I taught for two years. After three years in Vineland I had the opportunity to return home. I have been at LCMR since 1992. Additionally, I have coached both swimming and diving. I am currently the LCMR Student Council Advisor. If you wish to see my resume just Email me.

Come see what I am reading... and please email me some suggestions
