AP SPANISH LANGUAGE STUDENT CONTRACT

I, ___________________________, give my word of honor, as I sign this contract, that:

1. I will speak Spanish exclusively while in AP Spanish class. I understand that this will be difficult at times, but I do recognize that my efforts will be rewarded with improved fluency and comfort, higher proficiency, and ultimately a greater degree of success in class and the AP Exam. Only with permission from the teacher and for clarification of terms will I use the English language. The teacher may use English to explain grammar concepts only.

2. I will undertake the challenges of the AP Spanish Language class with serious commitment.

3. I will participate actively, turn in assignments on time and come to class prepared with all required materials every day.

4. I will make every effort to be present in every class, as I understand that attendance is not only essential, but required.

5. I will behave respectfully towards my teacher, my classmates and myself by listening attentively and demonstrating appreciation and support.
