With your partner, use the laptops to research the Christmas traditions of the country assigned to you. Follow the instructions carefully, ensuring that you meet all the requirements. Your work will be graded for content, accuracy, presentation and teamwork. Late work will not be accepted.

I. Use the links on Sra. Alessi’s web page to find the following:

1. Your country’s geographical location and a brief description

2. A Christmas tradition of the country
• Historical background
• How it is celebrated
• When it is celebrated

3. A traditional Christmas recipe of your assigned country – with ingredients and procedure,

Or

A traditional Christmas craft – with list of materials needed and instructions

4. A traditional Christmas song or music piece of your assigned country.

5. A personal anecdote or tradition that is special to you or your community.

Bonus: For extra credit, you may prepare the recipe or demonstrate the craft and bring it to school on the day of your presentation.

II. Type your report. On the title page, include your names and class period. The title will be: NAVIDAD EN (name of assigned country). Use a separate sheet for each topic. The report is in English. Do spell check.

III. You may decorate your work, and neatness and creativity will count, but the content and accuracy of your work will the most weight in the grade.

IV. Deadline is FRIDAY, DECEMBER 18, 2009. No extensions, no exceptions. Projects will be collected that day.
