Overview:    Students are working on classroom related vocabulary and the use of the verb SER (to be)

Objectives:   1. SWAT identify common classroom objects (7.1 A, B)

                      2. SWAT use the third person singular and plural of the verb ser (7.1 A, B)

                      3. SW learn about a variety of famous Hispanic people. SWAT use the verb ser to talk about where these people are from and what they

                          do. (7.1, A, B, 7.2, A, B)

Assessments: 1.   Teacher observation during class activities

2.     Homework assignments

3.     Paired activity – handouts completed with internet research, class discussion
