Estimated Cost Breakdown Per Person

The following is a list of the basic expenses.  All $ amounts are estimated at this point, but show what we expect to be a Òworst-case scenarioÓ.

  1. Air Transportation –
  2. US Air PHL/SJU R/T non-stop                      $         400.00
  3. Land Transportation –
  4. Leased vans (2 passenger, 1 cargo)                          250.00
  5. Hotel accommodations
  6. (4 hotels) quadruple rooms                                        550.00
  7. Meals included                                                                 400.00
  8. Admissions                                                                         150.00
  9. Miscellaneous                                                                      50.00                                                                                     Total               $1,800.00

Do Not Panic! This is worst-case scenario, remember?  You will be able to raise as much of the funds as you want, and there is plenty of time.

In addition, students should plan for the following expenses:

1.    Meals not covered in the package (approx. 11 @$10.00) Continental breakfasts are included and may consist of cereal, milk, donuts and pastries, juice, coffeeÉ)

2.   $ for munchies – we stop at local grocery stores to allow student to get supplies for late night snack emergencies.

3.    Spending money – while shopping is not going to be high on our priority list, students will have the opportunity to purchase souvenirs and will be visiting the largest mall in the Caribbean (last day there).
